My name is Jamie L. Maurer and I grew up in the forested suburbs outside Cincinnati Ohio bordered by Kentucky and Indiana. Most of my childhood was relished outdoors in the three states. There I learned to appreciate nature and the capacity to keep myself busy. In 1977 I graduated high school and volunteered to serve in the United States Marines Corps. After completing my tour I remained in California where I met my wife in 1989. We moved to the greater Palms Springs area in 1993 where we have remained. Once out of the Marine Corps my photography expanded. I accepted larger projects and enriched my comprehension and skill as a photographer; these experiences were attributed to the fabulous climate and picturesque landscape of Southern California. The tremendous amount of photo activities in southern California was endless. There were Car shows and racing, Surfing contests, Model shows, Fashion Events and Special events for everything, just to list a few. The Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays and various School graduation ceremonies became an intricate aspect of the hands on practical experience I bring to my photocompositions today.
Through the years, opportunities as a photographer have crisscrossed life styles, cultures, events and scenic locations, all of which have played a valuable part in my philosophy and viewpoint on freezing time in the form of a picture. As a photographer I significantly appreciate the value of those once in a life time occasions. They are priceless treasures in our life’s journeys. They are the conversations, the laughs and the tears we all share. They are an instant in time captured for ever. If only we all had a picture for every special moment in our lives. Recording those life experiences are without doubt a piece of time that tells a story. Remembering those stories and moments are priceless. I suspend those emotional time capsules in the form of a photo for sentimental keepsakes in the years to come. My clients are at ease knowing my experiences, creativity and easy going character. My Philosophy
As a business owner and customer, I can attest that the single most important element that determines my overall experience with any particular service is my Motto “The Client Comes First”. You already know the difference between a terrible and excellent service. Here are various examples I think of, do they return your calls promptly? Do they accomplish what they say? Are they knowledgeable and up-to-date? Are they flexible in situations out of your control? Do they work with you rather than against you or do they put their priorities first?
